Wildlife Program in Kenya
Program Category:
Wildlife and Conservation
Our main aim is to offer support to community-based organizations through outsourcing and placement of international volunteer personnel to improve the life of our, wildlife, and people and hence contributing to the development of our country. We appreciate the diverse talent and skills each volunteer is endowed with and we want those who can offer such service as a volunteer to come to Kenya and make a difference in the lives of underprivileged community members around the national park and general wildlife conservation in Kenya.
We work very hard to conserve wildlife since it's our country's beauty and source of government revenue. It attracts so many people to volunteer and tour from all over the world.
We open doors to all people from all over to visit this great Nation. Volunteers work hand in hand with game rangers.
This program is designed for
Every individual who wants to make a positive and meaningful impact on nature conservation.
Volunteer Responsibilities
-Volunteers work together with professional rangers at the national park removing wildlife from traps [snairs]. There are poachers from surrounding communities who attack wildlife for meat, and elephants to get the husks.
-Volunteers help in treating the sick and wounded wildlife.
-Volunteers help in outreach to the community and creating awareness to members of the importance of conserving wildlife.
-Volunteers with rangers help pregnant wildlife like elephants to carry them and put them in safe places for safe delivery.
-Do patrols throughout the volunteering period and make sure that wildlife is safe.
-Help feed the weak wildlife. And many more roles.
